Aspect of an Opponents Personality
Feelers will, "act friendlier, easily engage in small talk, use other peoples' names frequently, and can be generous with praise"." Empirically, I feel as if the Thinkers would tend to be more of the `solid' players, less shakable or prone to wild variety. I am not necessarily referring to their skill level, but rather the style of play they employ.
It might give you some information about a person, but I have not made a connection to any technique that will give you a fiscal advantage. Neither trait should help nor hinder a player in a tangible way that I can discern.
Mostly what we are trying to identify is, "how much of a gambler is this person?" By gambler, I mean, "What is the likelihood that he is making a play at me?" Outside of the influence of drugs or alcohol, some personality types are more inclined to be creatively aggressive players than others are.
The people who would most likely fall into this category are the ENF's (Extroverted, Intuitive Feelers). This type of behavior is well within the comfort zones of ENF's from the very start of their poker-playing - career. This is not to say - that - -other--personalities cannot develop this type of play, but it is much more natural to ENF's.
They will have strong Thinking tendencies also, because pure Feelers do not like confrontation. You will need to make allowances; an ENF may represent hands that they do not personality types. To identify opposite personality types, and thus rule out their being ENF's, observe how they behave.
