Changing Dealers
"Listen,"
I told the floorman, "tell your dealer to take it easy. Those
cards are missing my eyes by inches."
The
floorman didn't even answer me and didn't tell the dealer to slow
up the game or to deal the cards in an easier manner. Instead he
stood to one side and watched my discomfort.
On the next play, one hit my hand and really bruised it. I picked
up the card, put it with my other card, and stared at the hand.
I
didn't do anything for five minutes while the dealer and floorman
stewed. The floorman then told me I had better play the hand and
not slow the game down, or he'd throw me out of the casino.
I
stared him in the eye to let him know that he'd better not try it
personally. However, I realized he wouldn't bother.
In
casinos there are all sorts of security guards around, ready to
deal with players. So instead I asked the floorman for his name.
