The manner in which a person structures their life ranges from obsessive-compulsive to impulsive. Promising players approach the ; game with a method of improvement. People that advance spend significant time thinking about the game. I am not saying that. These are necessarily `book' learners, although most are. It certainly is easier not to re-invent the wheel regardless of some players' belief that poker teachers cannot `do'.

When you are profiling an opponent and you find out their profession, try to think about their work environment. Do they structure their own time or does their employer? If a person has the ability to organize their life, and they choose to, they can organize the way they learn and play poker.
